Abstract
Socialization is an activity for community development is built. Socialization is based on the institutionalization of the system and way of development which is the last part of the socialization system in the criminal justice system, behaving as such socialization is the setting of the direction and limits as well as construction systems based on Pancasila is the cohesive socialization carried out between the officers, constructed, and the community. Socialization of narcotics in Yogyakarta and the Institute should be given specific guidance fostering selfreliance and construction is different from other criminal prisoners. Efforts to provide special construction for the detention of drug users is the obligation of Socialization Institution, based on Law Number 12 Year 1995 on socialization that serves as a construction site, in the form of social rehabilitation. This study is a descriptive empirical research, and research sites in Class II Narcotics Penitentiary A Yogyakarta. The type of data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used is through observation, interviews, and research literature, both by the form of literature, regulations, documents and so forth. Analysis of the data used qualitative data analysis by the method of deductive reasoning. Barriers in the conduction of construction for the detention of narcotics at the Institute Socialization Yogyakarta is still a lack of response from the government in Yogyakarta Penitentiary. Authors convey advice to officers in Yogyakarta Correctional Institution to be more precise in monitoring the entry and outflow of the items from the Yogyakarta Institute of Socialization Socialization Institutions to convert inmates narcotics in Yogyakarta Penitentiary to become better human beings.
