Abstract

The title of this research is conversion of agricultural land into nonagricultural to residences after the entry into force Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2012 of the Spatial Plan of Sleman District. Through this research, the author is trying to discuss the implementation of the rules on convertion of agricultural land into non-agricultural to residences in Sleman district, and the obstacles to its implementation. The method of this research is empirical research. Based on the conclusions of this research that the implementation of the conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural to residences in Sleman district in 2014 was accordance with the applicable procedures based on Sleman District Regulation 19 Year 2001 regarding License Designation Land Use and Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2012 of the Spatial Plan of Sleman District Year 2011-2031. This evidence based on 11 respondents, 9 of them already has a permit to conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural to residences accordance with the procedures applicable. Although there were 2 respondents who do not have the permission of the conversion of land with reasons not want to through the administrative process that takes a long time and is difficult.
