Abstract
The problem of this research is how Indonesian National Police (POLRI) and National Anti-Narcotics Agency (BNN) to prevent and prosecute drug crimes and any obstacles encountered in the coordination. This research aims to determine coordination between Indonesian National Police (POLRI) and National Anti- Narcotics Agency (BNN) to prevent and prosecute drug crimes and to find out what are the constraints faced in coordination. This research used normative legal research. This research focused on the norms of positive law in the form of legislation both law No.35 Year 2009 on Narcotics, Law No.2 Year 2002 on the Indonesian National Police and the Presidential Regulation No.23 Year 2010 on the National Anti- Narcotics Agency. The results of this research were Indonesian National Police and National Anti-Narcotics Agency had coordination in preventing and prosecuting the crime of narcotics, BNN and the Police are intertwined when Police asked for the support of education issues, BNN was ready to do counseling and dissemination of drugs and the dangers of narcotics. In the operations of the inspection or the raid, BNN asked for help to the police because the limited number of members.
