Abstract

Nowadays, crime mode evolved a long with the times. Typically, Crime happening in the public environment but now many crimes occur in the military environment is especially done by indonesian army. One of the crimes committed by members of the Indonesian Army is abusing psychotropic substances. This research aims to find out the exact criminal sanctions for an INDONESIAN ARMY. This research uses the normative method where the materials are taken from books, laws, research results and the internet. The results of this research are criminal sanctions for a military of abusing psychotropic drugs is imprisonment and additional criminal form of dismissal from military service. Military courts are not subjected to the constraints of the military court, but got a little constraint in terms of examination of witnesses. The military court did not have any obstacles, but the military of court got a little constraint in terms of examination of witnesses.
