Abstract

People who has interest with military and guns usully get a tendency to collect guns or the replica of guns. The replica of guns that usually used the Airsoft Gun and Airgun. Refers to Article 40 verse (1) Police Principal Regulation Number 8/2012, airsoft guns is classified as a gun that used in sport activity. This caused the way of handling and security of airsoft gun are diffrent, becouse in this article, airsoft gun is not a toy like people belives. The legal issues that arise are what is the kind of control that police does as an implemmentation of the Police Principle Regulation Number 8/2012? Is there any problem in implemmentation of Article 40 verse (1) Police Principal Regulation Number 8/2012? The method of this research is normative law research which is focused on norm of positive law in the form of supporting laws and regulations. This source of this research uses secondary data which consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary law. The result of this research are that police has done the control refers to Article 40 verse (1) Police Principal Regulation Number 8/2012 but the transmission of airsoft gun through online becomes the problem.
