Abstract

The title of the writing of this law on "Legal Protection Against Narcotics Abusers in the Special Region Yogykarta" The purpose of writing this law is to to find the form that can be given legal protection to victims of narcotics. Methods of research in writing this law is a normative legal research, ie research that focuses on the norms of positive law in the form of Regulations and Legislation in this study requires secondary data as primary data. Based on the results of the discussion and research on the author found that the Legal Protection of Victims of Abuse Against Narcotics In Special Region Yogykarta in the form of legal protection provided it is set in the second part of Chapter IX of Law Number 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics, which reads Narcotics addicts and victims of abuse must undergoing medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation. The ingredients in the rehabilitation shall be provided by instasi country which is governed in Article 58 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics, which reads the social rehabilitation of former addicts Narcotics are held both by Government agencies and community. Comparison with the Act No. 13 of 2006 only provided assistance to victims of the investigation process is not necessary accompaniment of victims claimed by the Agency. Should be in every decision handed down by judges to victims of abuse of narcotics is is left to the states to do rehabilitation, as well as both local and central government to immediately establish an adequate rehab throughout the region in Indonesia
