Abstract

Bank is the main wheel of a country’s economic. With the presence of bank in a country, it brings a lot of efficiency in economic on that country such as providing an easy way of payment or others transaction. In order to improve bank’s services and folowing the times, bank also providing new feature of service that can make transaction way more easier named internet banking. Internet banking enabling us using any kind of services that provided by bank as long we are connected to the internet. Internet banking really helps and its existence bring a lot of benefit and contribution for a country’s economic. Customers as the user of the internet banking service that provided by bank need a certain legal protection for their own security when they using this service. In this paper, writer trying to describe the legal protection for customers as the user of the internet banking service that provided by bank, whether the current law that formed in this field already covered the customers rights or not. Considering it is important for customer to have a legal standing to retrieve their rights when there is a certain loss that caused by the internet banking.
