Abstract

Legal research is titled police efforts in preventing the occurrence of wrongful arrests of perpetrators of criminal acts in a privileged area of Yogyakarta, legal issues in legal writing / essay this is how the police efforts in preventing the occurrence of wrongful arrests of perpetrators of criminal acts in the special region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the police efforts in preventing wrongful arrests of perpetrators of criminal acts in Yogyakarta. Type of research is normative law research by doing research on the positive law to obtain primary data as the main data and researching the literature to obtain secondary data. Data analysis method used is a qualitative method. Results huku writing / essay can disimpulkah that police forces Yogyakarta Special Region has tried as much as possible to avoid wrongful arrests. These efforts include: emphasis on the principles of democracy and Human Rights, developing a civic culture in the education of members of the police, streamline commission ethics and discipline at all levels of education Police, puts the control functions of the Police Headquarters in the implementation of educational Police at every level, socialization mental revolution , increase Human Resources Police, the increased professionalism of the work members of the police, strict application of criminal sanctions in legislation for police officers who commit violations.
