Abstract

In order to provide the protection of the rights of the child, parents are required to provide a proper education in accordance with the basic needs of the child. Parents who do not provide a good education to children, should be punished in the form of sanctions. In particular, provide criminal sanctions to parents who give permission for a child to use the motor vehicle. The type of research that is done is the normatif legal research i.e. Research which focuses on positive form of legal norms and regulations. Types of data used include primary law, secondary legal materials and legal materials tertiary. The results of this research indicate that, parents who give permission to a child under the age for using a motor vehicle, in fact there has been no regulatory or legal norms which provide criminal sanctions to parents on the basis of these actions.
