Abstract

Technological advances led to the development of the human being easy, the utilization of information technology, one for business interests, namely the business of buying and selling online (online shop). Rapid development of online shop, in various circles minused to commit fraud. The police as law enforcement officials, obliged to cope with the possibility of such crimes, the problems occured that is how the police apply the punishment given to the perpetrator impersonate online shop, especially in Yogyakarta. The steps taken by the police to tackle this problem is toreceive reports from disadvantaged, tracking the offender, to the arrests made in the inquiry and investigation should be in accordance with section 28 verse (1) regulated in law number 11 year 2008 on information and electronic transactions Then the police must overcome obstacles to track IP (Internet Protocol), phone number, account number, the cost of an expensive and bump into the other party's authority in the conduct of the investigation stage to collect evidence.
