Abstract

The title of this research is consideration of police to give a discreation to children in dealing with the law. The type of this research is a normative legal research, which focuses on the positive legal norms in the form of legislation by the data collection method in the form of literature studies and interviews. This research was conducted at the DIY provincial police on the part of investigators (DITRESKRIUMUM). The result of this research showed that the acts of discreation committed by the police are in accordance with the legislation , namely againts children in dealing with the law which through diversi way and appropriate base of consideration so that the victims and children in dealing with law can reach a peace agreement as well as the rights of children in dealing with the law and the victim can be given in accordance with the laws that govern them.
