Abstract

This research is entitled the implementation of the obligation of water usage from Local Water Supply Utility (PDAM) Tirtamarta for hotel business in the city of Yogyakarta. The background of this research based on the regulation that every hotel building is obligated to utilize the water from Local Water Supply Utility (PDAM) of Tirtamarta. The problem formulation is how the implementation of the obligation of water use Local Water Supply Utility (PDAM) of Tirtamarta for the hotel business in the city of Yogyakarta. This research use empirical law research. The result is that there are some obstacles in implementing the obligation. The first is the lack of firmness in general regulation issued by the mayor of Yogykarta number 3 in 2014. The second is that Local Water Supply Utility (PDAM) of Tirtamarta is not ready yet comply the demand by the hotel service.
