Abstract

The title of this research is Law Enforcement on Business Activities that do not Have Environmental Permits in Sleman District. This research is motivated by the concern for some business activities which are increased in Sleman district however it has no complete permits. The research questions were how do law enforcement make for business activities that not have environmental permits in Sleman district?, and what are the problems and the solutions for the law enforcement of the environmental permits in Sleman distric?. The type of research was empirical law research that focus on the problems in society. The result of this research were (1) law enforcement that are done by related agencies for doing and dealing the orderliness of the business activities in Sleman district was good, and in this case the Municipal Police of Indonesia (Satpol PP) was very needed to enforce and control the business activities which exists in Sleman district. (2) In carrying out enforcement of business activities that do not have permits in Sleman district, Municipal Police of Indonesia has some obstacles, for example, their limited number of personnel owned by municipal police of Indonesia in Sleman district, considering the area in Sleman district is very large and the type of activity which exists in Sleman is a lot therefore it cannot be monitored every day to maximize the law enforcement, but now with the advancement of technology, the Municipal Police of Indonesia opens a complaint service that can be directly submitted by the public. If the public knows something wrong from business activity around their environment, the complaint can be submitted directly through the Sleman district government website .
