Abstract

In Indonesia narcotics have been at the level of danger of emergency abuse, the incident made the younger generation and become a thing that harm the nation. The perpetrators of narcotics abusers themselves are mostly victims, the perpetrators of using drugs illegally for being persuaded, tricked, cheated, coerced, and / or threatened to use narcotics, therefore the perpetrators and victims of narcotics abuse should be given legal protection to safeguard their rights . The author conducted a study on the District Court Sleman Class 1A against the judge, while the purpose of this study is to obtain data about the legal protection provided to victims and perpetrators of narcotics abuse, the method used is normative juridical research that focuses on norms and legal materials as the main data. Methods of data collection is done by studying and reviewing the legal materials related to the research, the data obtained from the literature, then directed, discussed and given an explanation using qualitative analysis method, which is a way of research that produces descriptive data analysis, as for the method of thinking In conclusion is by inductive method, that is drawing conclusions from the general to the special. From the results of research forms of legal protection provided among others is to provide medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation of the perpetrators and victims of abuse of narcotics.
