Abstract

This legal research titled EFFORT OF WITNESS AND VICTIMS PROTECTION AGENCY TO PROVIDE LEGAL PROTECTING ON THE WITNESS FROM CORRUPTION CASE IN DISTRICTS. This research will be aimed for better understanding the procedure and form of the protection that will be given from Witness and Victims Protection Agency in protecting the witness under the law in a certain district. The primary data that will be used in this research will be taken from source’s primary data throughout an interview in order to gain infomation about the main object of the research. The secondary taken from several references throughout reading and analyzing and also collecting informations from related books, literature, law articles, and also laws or regulations related to this research. The result of this research showed that the witness of corruption case in certain district should submit for special request to Witness and Victims Protection Agency. The request can be submitted with own initiative or through legal officials. Applicants are allowed to go to the official Witness and Victims Protection Agency office directly or through a letter, Fax, or e-mail specifically to the division of request care. In principle there is no differences in matter of procedure and form of the protection towards the witness of corruption case in capital or district. However, in order to receive the full benefit from Witness and Victims Protection Agency it is also important to construct Witness and Victims Protection Agency in district.
