Abstract

This thesis is about the fulfillment of children's right of education in underprivileged families of Gajah Wong School in Yogyakarta. This thesis aim is to know about how to determine the fulfillment of children's right to get education of children from underprivileged families. This research is a normative legal one, where the data were collected by literature study and interview. The result of this thesis shows that the government had to protect and fulfill the right of education for all sections of society without exception. For recommendation, the government should increase efforts to fulfill the right of education in terms of budget and physical facilities for all levels without exception.
