Abstract

This study, entitled the legal protection of children as perpetrators in juvenile justice system in Indonesia This study aims to determine the settlement of lawsuits of children associated with the completion of a criminal offense out of court. Type of research is a normative legal research that focuses on the positive legal norms in the form of legislation by the method of data collection in the form of literature studies and interviews. This research was conducted in the District Court of Sleman results showed that the perpetrators of criminal acts of children in the process of reaching the courts However the putusanya judges settlement based on diversion and may impose for rehabilitation so that children receive welfare and to ensure that there is no longer a case-kasuh children in conflict with the law of the parties court rules for rehabilitation thus resolving criminal case the child is not in crime, but in trying to do their settlement in the consultative meeting and not criminal.
