Abstract

Efforts profession and security division (divpropam) dallam prevent violations of the code of professional conduct and discipline of police officers in a special area of Yogyakarta. London: Faculty of Law, University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. This study is about the efforts the Police as a function Propam in reducing violations of the code of professional conduct and discipline of police. Divpropam as an element of supervisors and assistant head of the field of professional accountability and fostering internal security functions and perform the functions of professional accountability, internal security, enforcing discipline and order within the Police in order to realize the purpose and existence of the Police. So the police image in the eyes of well-regarded community. The purpose of this research is to understand and collect data related to efforts Propam function in preventing violations of the code of professional conduct and discipline of police. The research conducted is normative legal research that focuses on legal norms and legal materials as the primary data. The authors conducted research in Bidpropam Polda Yogyakarta. The results of this research is Divpropam as a form of enforcement of violations of codes of professional conduct and discipline of Police has been carrying out the duties as stipulated in Presidential Decree number 52 of 2010 concerning the organizational structure and working procedures of the Police in article 12. With efforts to conduct a continuous and regular dissemination to the public about the duties and authority of the national police as well as a function yanduan Propam, with the aim of participating communities to take a role in monitoring the performance of members of the national police. No we know it or not, we desperately need the existence of national police organizations in running the state government of Indonesia. Police have become a necessity for society even though sometimes some people do not recognize its existence. Finally, the author gives advice Propam function should immediately improve itself to be clean, like a broom if you want to use a broom swept clean also do not wear a dirty broom instead will increasingly make dirty
