Abstract

Firstly it needs to consider that society in Bali has no great number of choices. The merely source they can manage is their culture and only type of product they can market is art and rites which is the tradition conducted in every life aspect of society in Bali of which is also a biggest attraction to the tourist, and also has increased the reputation of Bali island to economical development in Bali unlikely should come from the development of tourism and particularly the tourism that has cultural tourism pattern. In this matter is undeniable that society in Bali highly esteems their cultural prestige and always has willingness to represent what the best of their cultural tradition. However in Bali society it depends so much on the successfulness of their tourism attraction to local culture which instead makes their culture overtime depends on the tourism. Various shapes of violation towards local culture has been happened in society. There are some villages that gave regulation towards the rapid of tourism wave in particularly cultural tourism. However it is still any impact of tourism towards the culture of society in Bali seems significantly in every aspect of life, either positive or negative which has been responded by society in Bali. The culture in Bali that has traditional and religious pattern should be a cultural heritage that has high sacredness values changed into highly commercial value. It is caused by the existence of contradictory relationship amongst the individual and group, by considering the tourism industrial has vision to gain economical valued profit, Meanwhile tourism in Bali has principle cultural and spiritual value thus it caused the existence of value clash. The exiting main problem in Bali society wherein some parties sometimes manipulate the difference amongst a culture which is rites or representation thus sometime it eliminates the sacredness itself.
