Abstract

This Legal Research analyzes about Human Rights Perspective on Justice Collaborator as a condition of remission for corruption inmates. This Legal Research uses a normative research methods, which focuses on the juridical analysis of legislation about right for equal treatment and justice before the law. In addition, analysis is also conducted on the arrangement of Justice Collaborator as a condition of remission. Information about the Justice Collaborator is obtained from several interviewees who asked for legal opinions. The interviewees in this research are Head of Binapi Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Yogyakarta, Staff of Registration in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Yogyakarta, Staff of Human Right in Ministry of Law and Human Rights DIY, Staff of PAS Division in Ministry of Law and Human Rights DIY, Head of Special Crimes Section of Yogyakarta State Attorney, Attorney Functional of Yogyakarta State Attorney. The results show that Justice Collaborator as a condition of remission for corruption inmates does not provide a guarantee of fair legal certainty to them. In addition, the Justice Collaborator's status-related arrangements also decrease the right of corruption inmates to get equal treatment before the law.
