Abstract

This research is about review of judge’s consideration in the imposition of criminal sanction for military member who commits the crime of letter forgery. The background of this research is that military members are obligated to obey the sapta marga and soldier’s oath,but some are stil violating and committing a crime like letter forgery which can harm the nation. The topic of this research is the criminal sanctions for members of the military who commited the crime of counterfeiting letters and whether there is special consideration in imposing sanctions on members of the military who commited the crime. The scope stating of this research is military members who commited the crime of letter forgery. This paper will be using normatif method. The result of this research is that soon will be known that thecriminal sanction of the focused crime is the imprisonment and additional criminal sanction in the form of dismissal from the service, in this case the judge only see from common considerations only so there is no special consideration.
