Abstract
The thesis discusses the effectiveness about the provision of the article 20 of law number 5 of year 1999 concerning prohibition of monopolistic practices and unfair business competition to solve the problem about predatory pricing and the division of authority between KPPU and KADI in enforcing provisions on dumping. The thesis aims to find out discusses the effectiveness about the provision of the article 20 of law number 5 of year 1999 concerning prohibition of monopolistic practices and unfair business competition to solve the problem about predatory pricing and the division of authority between KPPU and KADI in enforcing provisions on dumpingThe type of research used is normative legal research. Normative research is research that focused on the positive legal norms. Related to the effectiveness, the provisions contained in article has not yet been effective because the definition of business operators did not cover foreign business operators. There is no division of authority between KPPU and KADI, so there were overlapping authority in upholding provisions on dumping. Implication that have occured from this is KPPU unable to enforce provisions on predatory pricing or dumping and could not run their present authority.
