Abstract

The study is aimed to discover and obtain the data on crime reduction policies to support the effectiveness of terrorism laws on the eradication of terroism. This research is more focused on efforts that should be made for handling terrorism in Indonesia has becomeeffective. This research is using normative legal method that focuses on the norm (lawinthebook) and requires secondary data (legalmaterials) as the primarydata. Then use analysis qualitative data analysis using qualitative measures. The process of reasoning in drawing conclusions is using deductive reasoning method, the method of inference which is based on the general proposition whose truth is known or believed and ends at the conclusion of a special nature. Based on the analysis and results of research that has been done,then drawn the conclusion that efforts to control terrorism with criminal policy should be pursued through policies that are integral between penal and non-penal policy. Before the integration, first carried out repairs on efforts to penal and non-penal.
