Abstract

This writing entitled Law Protection toward Students in the Process Of Education Students and Academic Guidance in the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University. In the learning process, the role of the lecturers is a main factor which can support learning process. The reason is because the lecturers give material in which will become the test source for the student academic assessment. The task of the lecturers is not only guiding the students in planning the academic matters, but also helping the students’ problems in finishing their study program so that the students complete their study well. Students also have the rights to obtain good teaching and have their legal protection with questions formulated of how protection laws toward students in the learning process of some students through academic guidance in Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University. Researcher conducted empirical legal research and the result of this research is that the legal protection for students already been set in the STATUTE and all the regulations issued by university. However, its implementations need to have more improvements and a responsible participation from the students and campus authorities.
