Abstract

Laundry business is engaged in washing and ironing service. There are many businesses in various major cities in Indonesia, especially in the city that many of its student. The presence of laundry businesses provide convenience for students, one of which can lighten the load of homework students without having to spend a lot of energy and interfere with daily activities the student. Laundry businesses also produce liquid waste, laundry businesses is also increasingly mushrooming in the subdistrict ofDepok Sleman Regency over the growth of the students, but there are still many who have not been coupled with good waste management. In protecting the environment in Depok Sleman, this study find data respondents by using the interview method. First, the result of the laundry business in Depok Sleman for obligations of licensees and the management of liquid waste in an effort to control pollution not run by businessmen of laundry, and against violations of the obligations of the unprecedented action of government as supervisor has important role provide conseling, guidance and supervision consistenly.
