Abstract
In Indonesia in general every product containing alcohol, especially alcohol must have permission to be traded, so not all people have the freedom to get and consume them. Cases of violations of law in Indonesia occur in various aspects and performed by various circles, one of them by adolescents known as juvenile delinquency (juvenile delinquency). Juvenile delinquency is a symptom of social pain in children and adolescents caused by a form of social neglect, so that they develop a form of behavior that deviates. The State Police of the Republic of Indonesia is a State instrument that plays a role in maintaining the security and public order, upholding the law, and providing protection, protection and service to the public in the framework of maintaining internal security. The liquor is like a narcotic making its users feel addicted that could destroy the future of the nation's generation and cause adversity for the nation of Indonesia. Police as State apparatus in law enforcement have a very important role that is security maintainer which in its implementation to prevent and overcome crime and violation. police efforts in tackling criminal offenses due to the influence of alcohol by making efforts preemptive, preventive and repressive. It was concluded that the role of the police in tackling criminal acts in the Special Region of Yogyakarta by children due to the influence of liquor. the authors suggest that the Yogyakarta Special Police can increase the preemptive, preventive and repressive efforts in tackling the crime committed by children due to the influence of liquor in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
