Abstract
This research entitled the victimology review of the compensation for wrong arrested victims based on South Jakarta Court’s Judicial Order number 98/Pid.Prap/2016/PN.Jaksel. The problems of analysis are did the compensationfor the wrong arrest victims in judicial order of Jakarta High Court already in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 8 of 1981 and why compensation is needed for the wrong arrest victims. This research using normative method.The fulfillment of compensation against the wrong arrested victims in the Jakarta Court’s Judicial Order Number 98/Pid.Prap/2016/PN.Jakse lis in accordance with the fulfillment stipulated in Law Number 8 of 1981.compensation is necessary for the fulfillment of the victim's right and to restore victim’s condition due to the loss suffered by wrong arrest. The compensation given is in the form of a reward of money. compensationis given in the form of rewards of money.
