Abstract

The growth of technology gives many advantages to social life. However, at the same time it cause various new problem that needs the internet as its solver. The crime that happens in cyber area is called cybercrime. in it’s development, the form of traditional crime thats has become social habit and hard to obstacles, has been revolutionized into crime through internet that called online gambling. Online gambling is a social crime that is difficult to be proved and tackled. Therefore,the aim of writing this thesis is to explain the effort of tackling and proving online gambling criminal act. This research use normative research methodology with constabulary as its interviewee. The result of this research is that polices do preventive action by doing the counseling to the students at school and to the society. Also repressive action by doing routine raids or social crime operation. To prove it using evidence which is regulated in criminal constitution book with addition other evidence that occurred in constitutin book number 11 year 2008 about information and electronics transaction.
