Abstract

This study discusses Legal Analysis of Child Protection as Victims of Sexual Violence in Yogyakarta City. The problem in this study is how is the form of child protection as a victim of sexual violence in Yogyakarta City and how is legal protection to child as victim of sexual violence in positive law in Indonesia. This study uses normative methods in the form of legislation and data in the field. Data obtained from secondary data. Data analysis to be used in this research is primary law material, secondary law material, and thinking process. The results of this study indicate that the protection of children as victims of sexual violence on their journey has not been optimal. Children victims of sexual violence are the most difficult to recover. The law has not been able to facilitate this sexual impact and violence. This means that so far the positive law still provides protection that only refers to the Act, not directed to the concrete protection of the victim. The results of this study are expected to be used as input material for all parties including law enforcement officers to provide protection against children violence victims thoroughly.
