Abstract

The Judge is the representative of the justice law and sides with the truth, then The Judge must have independence that is not influenced by other interests. However, in fact in the process of law enforcement in Indonesian Justice, the judge is one of the perpetrators of corruption crimes such as former Judge Tripeni Irianto Putro. This Thesis, aims to obtain data and how law enforcement against judges who commit a criminal act of corruption. The Authors use normative research methods that focus on positive legal norms with related verdict of corruption court against convict Tripeni Irianto Putro. The results of the authors, the convicted person commits a criminal act of corruption due to legal ignorance, in relation to the object of the dispute of the case in which he is judged, intention, prizes are given money, and abusing authority. Therefore, law enforcement of judges who commit corruption is exacerbated, harmonization of legislation, and improvement of judges' procedures met with legal counsel, and other law enforcement.
