Abstract

One of the Government’s main task is provide service. Public sevice is fulfillment of the public (society) and to improve the welfare of the community. These service are including health community service. Every citizen has the right to good health care. As one of the effort to improve health services, the hospital is one of the most important organs in providing health services to the community. the problems posed in this research is how the implementation of Public Services in the Regional General Hospital dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya after the enactment of Law Number 25 of 2009 on Public Services. The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of Public Services in Hospitals dr. Doris Sylvanus after the enactment of Law Number 25 of 2009 on Public Service. Location of research conducted in RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya which is a local hospital. Researcher use technique of selecting informant random sampling. Researchers use a "qualitative" analysis of data obtained based on observations. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of public services in hospitals dr. Doris Sylvanus after the enactment of Law Number 25 of 2009 on Public Service has been done fairly well in accordance with the standards of public services, which is supported by Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008 on Minimum Hospital Service Standards. It's just that there are some obstacles, including the lack of Human Resources, in terms of service procedures, especially in terms of complaints, facilities and infrastructure and in terms of safety and environmental comfort. for that, it needs an increase in human resources and facilities and infrastructure and various other methods that can improve the implementation of public servants in hospitals dr.
