Abstract

The data in production line area in 2017 showed that the productivity of the worker was low. Project review 2017 was the project containing the data of each waste from April to June. The waste from project review 2017 was the problem in the company. To increase the waste of productivity in LV production line area, the company had to identify the waste that made the productivity increasing. The researcher identified the waste in order: to investigate the three highest types of waste in Project Review, to find the solution of three highest waste found in Project Review, to find the effect of neglecting Project Review in constructing VSM, and to prove that Project Review should be used in constructing VSM. The methodology used in this research was in a combination of waste identification, VSM Current State Map, Real condition, and comparison. Data from Waste Category showed that there were three kinds of waste in the project review 2017. They were Missing material, NC Part, and DE Issue. The highest waste was Missing material. The result of waste identification in Project Review related to specific waste affected the man-hours. In the end it would affect the Process Cycle Efficiency. Because of this fact, project review should be used in constructing VSM.
