Abstract

The legal issue in this thesis is the Law for Child Protection Practice Against Child Trafficking (Trafficking) in Riau Islands Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the practice of child trafficking in the Riau Islands Province, and to find out how the legal protection of children from child trafficking in the Riau Islands Province, the research method used is the study of literature and research in the field. Legal protection for children against the practice of child trafficking (trafficking) in Riau Islands Province should be done as much as possible by interested parties, in this case further optimize the role of institutions, particularly the Department of Justice and Human Rights Province as an institution that shaded areas of law and promptly endorsed the draft Regional Regulation of Riau Islands Province, on the Prevention of Trafficking in Women and Children (trafficking) and more socializing Act - Act No. 23 of 2004 on the Elimination of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons.
