Abstract

Land conversion of agricultural becoming residences still taking place in Indonesia. So far the implementation of land conversion still become problematic. According to The Ministry of Agrarian Affair (BPN) Sleman Districts, the needs of residence increase from past 2 years, therefore land conversion directly proportional to the needs of residence. This land conversion would have a negative impact which is reduce the resource of food for next generation. The writer applied qualitative analysis, which is analysis to arranging data with understanding from respondents and interviewees become systematic then acquire a picture about circumstances. Many respondents from the community in Kalitirto and Jogotirto Sleman District who had done land conversion. Through interview with respondent and interviewees noted that people who want to apply land conversion to The Ministry of Agrarian Affair (BPN) need to have some file such as location photo, land certificate will only used for residential property, etc are incomplete. The incompleteness of that file makes the progress of land conversion become obstructed. Land conversion of agricultural issue are because of shift in modernization from economic factor and urbanization.
