Abstract

Criminal cases committed by corporations are an extraordinary crime, so formal legal instruments are needed as a means to deal with these criminal acts. Therefore the title was appointed “Regulation of Investigation in Criminal Cases with Corporations as Legal Subjects” with the formulation of the problem, how is the procedure and the basis of the outhority of investigators in the Republic of Indonesia National Police in conducting criminal case investigations by corporations and how is the regulation of criminal procedural law in the interests of criminal case investigation carried out by corporations in the future? To answer the problem, use the normative legal research method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that; First, the procedures and basis of the investigator’s authority in handling criminal acts committed by corporations are limited to the provisions stipulated in the criminal procedure law and Supreme Court Regulation No. 13 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Handling Criminal Cases by Corporations. Secondly, in the future criminal code regulations can accommodate provisions based on the Indonesian Attorney General’s Regulation Number: 028/A/JA/10/2014 concerning Guidelines for Handling Criminal Cases with Corporation as Legal Subyects and Supreme Court Regulation No. 13 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Handling Criminal Cases by Corporations.
