Abstract
Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarkat Kelurahan (LPMK), is the media for the government to become a partner in implementing development patterns into society that are empowered and participatory. The purpose of conducting this research is to know how are the perceived skills and functions of Kadipiro’s LPMK have an impact on management as whole. This research is using a semi-structured interview with three participants each as a representative from top, middle, and bottom level management Kelurahan Kadipiro, Surakarta city, with the leader of Kadipiro’s LPMK as the main respondent. The result of this research shows that LPMK has nine out of eleven management and leadership skills that are critical for mid-level managers in non-profit organization to possess, and only one out of eight functions that is not yet fulfilled.
