Abstract

Productivity is very important thing in completing a work because it is a comparison between output and input from the activity. Lack of attention to productivity will be make unsatisfactory for the result. According to Sinungan (2018), factors that affect worker productivity are production, human, capital, and organizational environmental. In Nias Island, there are large number of construction projects being worked on to make Nias Island develop. This study focused on factors affecting worker productivity on construction projects with research limitation in Nias Island. The analysis data had been use descriptive analysis and statistic analysis with SPSS 16.0 software. Field research was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly with randomize thirty construction projects located in Nias Island where the questionnaire respondents are site managers. From the result of every factor that affecting worker productivity, human factor has significance 0.046 < 0.05, capital factor has significance 0.172 > 0.05, production factor has significance 0.909 > 0.05, and organizational environmental factor has significance 0.588 > 0.05. There is no significant affect of every factor except human factor which has positive relation ( B = 0.176 ). It means, higher human factors make higher worker productivity. R2 value is 0.499. It means the affect of independent variables (human factors, capital factors, production factors, and environmental organizational factors) on the dependent variable (worker productivity) is 49.90%. There is no significant affect of every factor except human factor. Higher human factors make higher worker productivity.
