Abstract

This thesis discusses the effectiveness of corn prices for reference policy towards farmers protection. This thesis aims to find out the effectiveness of the provisions of Regulation of The Minister of Trade number 96 year 2018 towards farmers protection. Normative research method is used in this thesis. Normative research is research that focued on the positive legal norms, for example The Regulation Act Law. Related to the effectiveness, the provisions contained in Regulation of The Minister of Trade number 96 year 2018 has been effective because the of the meaning of Normative by Bruggink that said there is connection between one reguliation to other regulation, same as The Minister of Trade number 96 year 2018. So, the author suggest to the Minister of Trade that in the future when the Minister make a regulation author hopes that the purpose of the regulation can be truly achieved, and when the regulation runs and problems about trade happens the Government can solve the problem quickly.
