Abstract

This undergraduated thesis discusses about the role of private junior high school in giving legal protection for children whose experienced psychological violence in town of Yogyakarta. Those children has encountered psychological violence in the school. However, most cases are rarely exposed. In those schools, the psychological violence does not get a proper care yet. Therefore, it is important for us to find out how privat junior high school in giving legal protection for children whose experienced psychological violence in town of Yogyakarta. Empiric research method is used in this undergraduated thesis. This research focuses on social fact. So that, according to this research , the private junior high schools which the researcher has choosen, has been implementing a child protection laws. However, although those schools have been undertaking that laws, there are some children still experiencing a psychological violence as well, especially in the high school. As the result, the writer suggests to the headmaster and the teachers to give more attention to the children about their protection, especially their feelings in the future.
