Abstract

Bussiness owner, employee, and government are the three main actors in this country responsible for affecting the country’s regulation about wage. Government stepped in because the bussiness owner and the employee alone are not able to seek out fair settlement because of the low bargaining position of the employee. To bring these two parties closer, government need to seek out fair judgment and regulation about the wage. Despite government has done its part to ensure fair regulation is legislated, the wage problems still exist. Whether the problems are caused by the parties themselves, or the legislated regulations. In this writing, writer is trying to research whether this company that provide the cleaning service workers has legally obligate the country’s regulation about wage. This empirical research is focusing on what really happened in the society. The obtained data consists of primary data that is collected by interview method to find out what really happen in the society. The secondary data consists of primary legal data, which is regulations, and the secondary legal data which is consists of legal opinion, books, research result, and internet. Data is collected by using literature review and interview method. Analyses that have been done are domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, discovering cultural themes, constant comparative analysis, with secondary legal data being correlated to review the primary legal data. Eventually resulting in obtaining conclusion in the end of this writing which shows that this company that manages cleaning service worker has its wage system adjusted to what the regulation has regulated. Despite the wage problems are still exist, the company has done its part well according to the wage regulations, providing employment and at the same time, obey the regulations about wage.
