Abstract

This thesis entitled "Responsibilities Of Oil Palm companies To The Preservation Of Environmental Functions In Dumai". The issue of this thesis is the number of oil palm companies in Dumai doing industrial activities and whether the oil palm companies have done their responsibility to preserve the environment, and what are the obstacles in preserving the living environment. The purpose of this thesis is to know the implementation of the responsibility of oil palm companies to environmental sustainability in Dumai. This study is an empirical law study. The result of this research is that the efforts of environmental conservation by oil palm companies in Dumai have been done well and have permit from government, but in supervision of oil palm company activity can not be done accurately.
