Abstract

This legal writing discusses the study of the protection of justice collaborator in exposing the narcotics crime. The first formulation of the problem is what kind of information given justice collaborator in narcotics abuse cases. Second protection what is obtained justice collaborator in uncovering narcotics abuse case. This research is normative law research, that is by studying library materials (literature study). Therefore, the data used in this study is secondary data, which includes primary, secondary, tertiary legal materials. The study concludes that the presence of justice collaborators in the disclosure of a narcotic crime is helpful in informing law enforcement officials about events known to the justice collaborator and will disclose an organized narcotic crime to find the main perpetrator. However, the regulation of justice collaborator is only implicit in Law Number 31 Year 2014 which is about the provisions of the general terms who can be protected and the understanding of justice collaborator whereas in SEMA Number 4 Year 2011 regulates the guidelines or requirements of a person who can be made justice collabotor. Therefore, legislation should be regulated that regulate the justice collaborator in isolation and integrity. Keywords: justice collaborator, narcotics, proctection, criminal act.
