Abstract

This study aims to determine the criteria for determining the Justice Collaborator in disclosing criminal acts of corruption based on the Supreme Court Circular Letter (SEMA) No. 4 of 2011 and to find out that protection is in accordance with the principle of legal protection for witnesses. This type of research is normative legal research. The method of research is normative law research which is focused on norm of positive law in the form of supporting laws and regulations. The results of this study are: Protection of Justice Collaborator in corruption in SEMA Number 4 of 2011 has not given a positive impression in terms of providing physical and legal protection, special handling, and appreciation for justice collaborators even more so that the protection of their legal status is far from being which are expected. Thus it can be concluded that the legal protection provided is not in accordance with the principle of legal protection for witnesses.
