Abstract
Regional apparatuses have an important role to assist regional heads in organizing local government, both in the interests of government administration, as well as government programs and activities. Sleman Regency which is part of Yogyakarta Special Region Province, as mandated by the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 Year 2016 concerning Regional Apparatus needs to determine the criteria for the formation of regional apparatus organizations because the structuring and strengthening of regional apparatus has an important role in improving the quality of public services. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze changes in the Organization of Regional Apparatuses in Sleman Regency after the enactment of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 Year 2016 regarding Regional Apparatuses and to determine the factors that cause changes in the organization of regional apparatuses in Sleman Regency. The results of this study are Sleman Regency has not implemented the criteria for the formation of regional apparatus in accordance with the provisions of the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 Year 2016 concerning the Regional Apparatus as a whole.
