Abstract

In Sandranan Beach, Gunung Kidul, there are many stalls of traders who used the coastal border area as a strategic business place. The stalls were built around the edge of Sandranan Beach. The Action who took by the community to built the stalls should behold by the border area, so it will not damage the environment on the coastline.The purpose of this research is to find out of the control of the damage on the coastline as the effect of the use of the coastal border area as a business place. The type of legal research will use in normative legal research.The Normative legal research is a research that focuses on legislation relating to the control of coastal environmental damage due to the development of Tourism Objects in Sandranan Beach. The result of this research is the Office of the Environment and the Office of Tourism, in this case, could only conduct guidance and socialization regarding the control of the environmental damage and efforts to control the damage to the shoreline environment due to the development of tourism objects on Sandranan Beach
