Abstract
Animal Welfare and Veterinary Public Health for the Gembira Loka Zoo is a very important task, because it relates to the condition of animals that are kept and also humans as visitors, hoping that animals in cages can stay healthy and not feel stressed due to uncomfortable cage conditions or because of the large number of visitors, for visitors so as not to be easily exposed to diseases originating from animals or bacteria brought by humans from outside the zoo area. Therefore, the government established Government Regulation Number 95 of 2012 Concerning Veterinary Public Health and Animal Welfare so that it can be applied to animal and human health and safety.
