Abstract

This study aim to determine the implementation of Law No.2 of 2012 concerning land acquisition for public use at Solo Balapan-Tirtonadi sky bridge construction in Surakarta.Therefore, in this study need to find out obstacles that faced by the government in the application of Law No.2 of 2012,especially in the implementation of compensation provided to the public.Based on the legal material sobtained,the writing of this study uses the method of analyzing data that is often used in qualitative research.From the results of the study based on respondents showed that most people of Gilingan,Solo,Central Java whowere affected by the construction of the Solo Balapan-Tirtonadi Sky Bridge agreed to the existence and amount of compensation provided by the government.This can be proven from the data of respondent swho 80% strongly agree that they have received compensation from the government.This proves that the application of Law No.2 of 2012 concerning land acquisition applies effectively to the construction of the Solo Balapan-Tirtonadi Solo Sky Bridge.
