Abstract
The title of this legal writing is "The Effectiveness of the Role of the National Narcotics Agency of the Special Province of Yogyakarta in Tackling Narcotics Abuse by Children". The purpose of this paper, is to find out the workings of the National Narcotics Agency of the Special Province of Yogyakarta in Countering Narcotics Abuse committed by children, Yogyakarta National Narcotics Agency has a counseling program aimed at providing education and knowledge about the dangers of drug use by children. The method used is the Empirical Method and focuses on the applicable rules, with the legal basis used is regulation Number 35 of 2009. The role of the National Narcotics Agency of the Special Province of Yogyakarta is ineffective in tackling child abuse of narcotics.
