Abstract

Aims to find out Legal Protection of Land for Customary Rights (Kelohkak Land) of the Dayak Uut Danum Customary Law Community for Granting Oil Palm Plantation Permits in Sintang District, West Kalimantan. Useful to increase knowledge in the field of law in general and in particular in the field of customary land rights relating to the protection of customary land rights to oil palm plantation permits. The type of legal research that the author uses is normative legal research, namely research conducted focusing on positive legal norms in the form of legislation. The secondary data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative methods, namely by understanding and comparing primary legal materials with secondary legal materials if there were differences, equality of legal opinion and the presence or absence of gaps. Whereas legal protection of customary land rights in the district of Serawai, Sintang Regency, legally in the form of regional regulations already exists. The existence of customary rights such as in an area in the Sarawai sub-district called Kelohkak is clear evidence that up to now the existence of customary land rights is still recognized and owned by the Dayak Uut Danum community.
