Abstract
Shophouse that has a swallow nest topped precisely in durian river market Sintang district no one has permission to build buildings. The purpose of this study is to know the legal rules of the maintenance of swallows on the shophouse to protect the environment in Durian River Market Sintang regency. The type of research used in this study is empirical legal research and the data source used is primary data obtained directly from the source through interviews and respondents through questionnaires and obtained from legal materials for secondary data. The result of this legal research is that there is no local regulation governing the permit of the construction of swallow houses on the shophouse.
